Dec 27th, Feb 6th and Feb 20th

Thank you KUTV!

These are the three dates that we have won IPOD Touches. Yes we did it again. Holly won an IPOD touch from the "Watch, Click, and Win"Contest. Now we each have one, I guess that we won't enter any more contests that the prize is an IPOD touch. I have already entered lots of contests for IPOD's so if I win more, I will have to give one to Mindy. Think positive thoughts, Mindy.

Tour Of California

Last week was the Tour of California. It is an eight day bike race in California. Holly watched it at work every day over the internet, and then together we would watch the coverage by "Versus". We watched carefully for Bonnie Walker, she was time board. She rode on the back of a motorcycle and gave time gaps to the groups of riders. Richard and I worked with Bonnie last year at Tulsa Tough, we cheered for her every time we saw here.

Maybe next year, we will try to go watch some of the race. Congrats to Levi Leipheimer, who won for the second year in a row.

If anyone reading this has a link for the technical guide and the race communiques, we would love to read them.

Girls Day Out

Rachael had President's Day off of school, so I took the day off. We met Grandma Anderson and Grandma Pat at Tai Pan Trading. Rachael and I had not been there before. We had lots of fun looking at stuff there. We could go there again, they had lots of fun stuff.

Then we headed to Gardner Village for lunch and to browse the shops there.

Good food, Good fun, and GREAT Company!

Rachael plays Basketball

Rachael is playing basketball on the Ward Young Women's team. She is having a good time. Her team has won a number of their games. Rachael is in Red wearing #11.

Puppy School

We signed Chloe up for Puppy School at PetsMart. We go every Monday at 8:00 pm. We have
Millie - a Chocolate Lab, Luke, a Bischon, Ellie a tiny dog, Barkley, black and fuzzy and Sage a German Shepherd. (Sage will be trained as a cadeavor dog) The thing that I like most about the class is that they want the whole family involved in the class. We are all training Chloe in the same way. The first week we worked on "Look at Me", "Sit" and taking a treat from our hand.

We"Socialize" with the dogs and they play with the other families in the class.

Chuck E Cheese

Beth, Ryan, Steven, Connie, Austin, Sean, Richard, Rachael and I spent a fun evening at Chuck E Cheese. The pizza wasn't as good as Dimitri's, but we all had a great time being a kid.

Winning Again

Richard entered a contest put on by the Newspaper and local car dealerships during January. He received the exciting phoone call last week that he was the lucky winner. He had to meet the lady form the newspaper at the Volkswagen Dealer and have his picture taken, receiving his new IPOD TOUCH!

He was pretty excited to be the winner. He decided to give the IPOD to Rachael for an early Valentines present. We spent Sunday evening loading all of her music onto her new IPOD. She danced all around the house with her earphones on and singing to her music.

We have won two IPOD Touch's in the last two months. Pretty exciting.

10 MORE INCHES OF SNOW

Sunday morning we woke up to snow again. Holly went out and started shoveling. She finished our driveway and sidewalks. By then the newspaper was here so she came in and read the paper. She took the puppy back out about 7:15 and started shoveling again. The driveway and sidewalks were done again. While Rachael had her shower (and the water heated for Holly's shower), she shoveled the sidewalks part way around the circle. As you can see in the picture the snow is deeper than the yard stick. I can't throw it any higher.

Then we were off to church. When we came out of church, we had still more snow. Richard had shoveled the driveway, so again we were working on our sidewalks. A neighbor was gone for the weekend so we did her driveway also. By the end of the storm, we had received about 10 inches of snow.

The poor mail man can barely find our mail box.

Ice Skating for Beth's Birthday

Beth wanted us all to go ice skating to celebrate her birthday. We went to the Peaks Arena and had a great time. Austin and Sean were skating all over the rink, unlike the rest of us who were picking ourselves up from the ice

I think that Connie was glad that she had an excuse to stay away from the ice and drink Hot Chocolate

We really had a good time and would go again. Maybe when Connie can join us on the ice.

The spoiled 'Baby"

Chloe has figured out how to sit on the furniture. She tried for days before she could get up on the chair. Poor Lightning has lost her favorite spot now.

We couldn't resist taking the dog shopping with us one Saturday afternoon.

We have started taking Chloe for a walk every night. It is dark by the time I get home from work so we go in the dark every night. Chloe likes to grab a hold of her leash and hold it in her mouth as she prances around. It is pretty funny. She has already learned our route, and gets really upset with us if we try to go a different way. We have her signed up for "Puppy School" it starts next Monday. We have been trying to train her to "Sit"on command, she is slowly learning.

"Till We Meet Again"

What a wonderful funeral service for President Gordon B Hinckley. He is the only prophet that Rachael has ever known. We will always remember attending the Primary Children's Conference and watching him as he left the podium and waved to us on the third row. Thanks for the memories
