Rachael joins us in Park City

Rachael joined us in Park City after Band Camp. Richard drove back to American Fork and picked her up bringing her first to Heber City where all of the officials had been invited to Ellie and Jon's for a BBQ after Stage 2. We had GREAT food and GREAT Company. Thanks Jon and Ellie! On Friday the race was in the evening in Salt Lake City, so we had all day to fill. All of the motorcycle referee's went for a ride over the Alpine Loop. Rachael and I wandered the shops at the Ski Resort and then decided to go for a ride on the Alpine Slide. We got our tickets and headed over to the ski lift. We rode up the lift enjoying the view of the resort

We looked backward from the lift and could see the town of Park
City. It was a fun ride ride up to the top. We got off of the lift and
picked up our slides carrying them down to the starting gate.
We patiently waited for our turn, watching a mother and her two young daughters get on. We tried to give them plenty of time to get ahead of us so that we could have a good ride down.

The ride operator gave us the go ahead and off we went, both screaming and yelling as we slide down and around the slide, Rachael saw a chipmunk run under the slide as she went by. But this was the last I saw of Rachael as she sped ahead of me. I quickly came upon a Mother and her young child going so
slow, that I could have crawled down the side of the mountain faster than they were going. By the time I got to the bottom of the slide I had 5 more people backed up behind me and the young mom.

We had a great time anyway. Rachael is ready to head up again.

We spent the rest of the afternoon with Kinnin at Temple Square. She wanted to see the Tabernacle, while we were there, one of the organists came out to practice, so we got to listen to the organ. It was fun.

Rachael was a great help at the rest of the bike races. She ;istened to the race radio for us at the crit. Being up on the stage and trying to score the race it is hard to hear what is being said on the radio. She kept us informed of who was being pulled out of the race down at the wheel pit.

In the race on Saturday, she and Steven were in the car with me. Steven drove us. We had fun playing leap from with the race.

On Sunday at the Time Trial Rachael was again on the race radio letting us know which rider was coming at us at the finish line.

Rachael even got one of the Sinclair Dinosaur's from Greg Iverson, with Sinclair. Thanks Greg! We are glad that you are our friend.

Thanks Rachael we are glad that you joined us at Park City
