What are you doing for breakfast?

On Saturday, the day of Band Fest, we decided to head to Pasadena early and have breakfast there.  We found a cute local place and ordered our breakfast.  The five of us (Mom, Dad, Jessica, Richard and Holly) were visiting while waiting for our food.  A man came over and asked about our sweatshirts.  We were all wearing our American Fork Marching Band Rose Parade sweatshirts.  He asked about our band.  Were we going to go to the float preview?  Did we have tickets for the parade on Monday, what about parking, and What are we doing for breakfast before the parade.  We answered his questions, yes we have tickets, we also bought a parking pass, yes we are going to the float preview, right after breakfast, and from there to the band fest.  But, breakfast, before the parade, we hadn't thought about that.  The next thing we knew, we had been invited to his house for breakfast.  He lives on Colorado
about one block before THE CORNER.  So only about 3 blocks from our seats.

So, on Monday, we got to Pasadena, found our parking place, and walked up the parade route.  As we walked we planned all of the What if's.  What if there wasn't other people at this man's house?  What if it was a scam?  What was our backup plan for breakfast.  We arrived at the house and were very surprised at the wonderful welcome we received.  We were invited right in, along with 200 of his closest friends.  We had a wonderful breakfast, enjoyed visiting with many of his friends and neighbors, they all asked about us and our band.  We had a great time, and when it was time to leave and we thanked our hosts, his wife handed Mom, a beautiful rose from the bouquet on the banquet table.

Thank you, NOBLE's for a wonderful morning!
