Rachael and Band Camp

Every year in August the American Fork High School Marching Band and Color Guard goes to a Band Camp in Delta, Utah. They spend 4 days, 3 nights, there working on their field show. Richard and I drove down on Wednesday to help feed them dinner and watch for a little while. It was fun to see where they stay. They stay at the Rec Center at the Intermountain Power Plant just outside of Delta, Utah. The girls sleep on the gym floor and the boys on the meeting room floor. (I guess it is a good thing they are kids)

We watched them practice for a little while, but left with no idea what their field show "PANDEMONIUM" is about.

The Color Guard received the "Spirit Stick" for all the hard work they are putting into the show

It is hard to see in the picture, but they have made it to look like a flag, a rifle, and a sabre, pretty creative!
