THIS IS IT!

The trip to the Rose Parade has begun.  Rachael got dropped off and found her seat on the bus

We headed down the road and worked our way to St George.  We needed to get there ahead of the 5 buses and get the semi trailer unloaded so the kids could have their last practice.   It is hard to believe that

THIS IS IT!
THE VERY LAST PRACTICE!

We got the semi unloaded

We marked THE CORNER on the field

Then we waited for the kids to arrive

Rachael arrived and they got to work.  They started on a field show rehearsal

Then they moved onto THE CORNER practice.  The one and only corner on the ROSE PARADE route is odd shaped.  The kids on the inside of the corner have to take tiny, tiny, steps, and the kids on the outside of the corner, almost have to run to stay in line.

That is it.  No  more practices. I think they have it.  I think the COLOR GUARD is looking GREAT!
WE are so proud of Rachael and all the time she put in to make sure that she is ready for the parade.  She has joined me at the gym a few times in the last month so that she will be ready to make that 6 mile walk.

We can hardly wait!
